Getting There: Train to Naples/Bus to Agerola

Accommodation: Our Favourite Bed And Breakfast
Rating: 9.5/10
Reason: Located in a beautiful local part of the region called Agerola, his bed and breakfast had the most spectacular view of the mountains, ocean and city below. A home-made Italian breakfast was provided daily and the host was so friendly. The only reason it didn't score a 10/10 is because for most people, renting a car would be necessary. We didn't mind the 200 steps to get up to the room because the view was worth it and it was probably for the best after days spent stuffing our face with pizza, pasta, cheese and gelato.

Pizzeria & Gastronomia Mascolo, Parco Regionale dei Monti Lattari, Via Belvedere, 6, 80051 Agerola NA, Italy

The hardest working family (also our bed and breakfast owners) serves up the most authentic and incredible pizza you will ever taste.

Agerola - Positano Path of Gods

Our host referred to this as what sounded like the path of goats so it wasn’t until we arrived at the path did we realize it was Gods! This trail along the edge of the mountains leading to Positano is stunning and totally worth it when you arrive in the busy.

Bus & Ferry OR Rent a Car

You can easily take a bus and a ferry to and from Agerola/Amalfi/Positano or if you can brave the windy roads you can rent a car to drive around.
