Getting There: Train
Reason: Cheapest hostel we booked in Europe at 11 euros/night. Included a huge breakfast and free drinks, in a great location minutes from the train station and in the hub of a ton of tasty and affordable restaurants.
Moma Ice Cream Budapest, Ráday u. 24., 1092 Hungary
Best gelato in the city! So yummy!
Take a walk down this long stretch towards the park and the baths. Stop along the way at the many restaurants and shops.
Wombats Hostel Area
This area has a young vibe that feels like one big nightly party. We came to this spot twice during our stay for drinks, dinner and a good time!
Castle At Night
The castle lights up at night and is really a sight you don’t want to miss! Take a walk over to the bridge at night and watch the castle sparkle.
Great Market Hall
This market is a great spot to find local produce and snacks to grab for a picnic lunch or to refuel before heading up Gillert Hill.
Climb up the hill for a 360 degree view of the city. Then take a pit stop on your way down to relax in the Gillert Spa Baths.
