PRAGUE, CZECH REPUBLIC
Getting There: Plane
Accommodation: Mosaic House
Reason: This was a pretty different hostel experience. More like a guest house, there were no staff on site. With only 4 rooms and 6-10 beds in each everyone in this hostel was super friendly!
Even though the clock is pretty overrated and attracts huge crowds this is a great starting point for your adventures!
This is a great outdoor patio/bar/restaurant with live music and view of daily fireworks at 9:45pm-10
Charles Bridge, Karlův most, 110 00 Praha 1, Czechia
After seeing the fireworks our first night in Prague and discovering it was a daily event we decided to head to the Charles Bridge for the fireworks the following night. The time of the fireworks change based on the sunset. When we were in town they went off for about 15mins between 9:45-10pm SO beautiful.
Walking around Prague...
Krusta Remeslna Pekarna, Karlova 146/23, 110 00 Praha 1-Staré Město, Czechia
Great spot for coffee and bakery nutella holes.
Bohemia Bagel, Lázeňská 19, 110 00 Praha 1-Malá Strana, Czechia
Best breakfast spot on our trip! I had a veggie omelette with a bagel and breakfast potatoes for 5euros and Colin had a breakfast burrito for 6 euros. Perfect stop before you climb up to the castle.
Climb 286 stairs for 6 euros to have an even better view of the city above the castle.
Rent a Paddle Boat
By the water south of the Charles bridge is a very touristy but wonderful and fun little paddle boat rental spot.
Barbeque on the Strelecky ‘Island’
This was a great place to grab lunch and hang out on “the beach” for the afternoon. This small piece of land is connected to the main land but feels like you are on an island.
