1 DAY IN PRINCE EDWARD COUNTY
The Restaurant on the Knoll (Picton) - serving up eggs from George's farm, sounds pretty fresh to me
The Drake Devonshire (Wellington) - great spot for lake side views and Toronto vibe brunch
The Courage (Wellington) - on the main street in Wellington with a new brunch menu called "And Then There Was Brunch..."
MARKETS & MAIN STREET
Picton for the Sunday Farmers Market
Wellington for the Saturday Farmers Market.
- Enjoy fresh food, arts and design from locals at both markets.
Walking down the Wellington Main Street is both fun and a great way to support locals if, for whatever reason you don't have enough time to head to the markets.
Head to...The Parlour Studio for beautiful succulents and local pottery. Enid Grace Cafe for a quick pick me up treat of coffee or pastries, Lavender Furniture for some beautiful pieces for your home, The General Store (because General Stores are cute) and Oak Clothing, for a small boutique cloth shopping experience.
The Little Bluffs, Sandbanks Park, Wellington Rotary Beach
Closson Chase Vineyards, The Grange of Prince Edward Vineyards, Broken Stone, The Old Third Vineyard, Hubbs Creek Vineyard, Karlo Estates
- If you decide to do a tour of a few or all of the wineries you can rent bikes on Closson Road for your tour.
Finish off your wine tour at Norman's and you will not be disappointed. The pizza and wine here are incredibly tasty and the perfect way to end your trip to Prince Edward County!
If you want an extra treat on top of your pizza head to Nice Ice Baby in Wellington for some artisan scoops.
