Getting There: Plane
Walking around Copenhagen...
Cafe Munk, Denmark, Nørre Farimagsgade 55, 1364 København K, Denmark
This restaurant had the best vibes. With floor seating, beautiful decorations and an awesome menu this spot is a must for anyone craving Indian food while in Copenhagen. Even just to see the cool decor would be worth it.
The Laundromat Cafe, Elmegade 15, 2200 København N, Denmark
When you’re backpacking, getting a classic all american breakfast is tough. But sometimes what you need isn’t an all american breakfast it’s a Copenhagen breakfast...and The Laundromat Cafe is serving up the best. This spot had a great variety and even better decor. The owners of this cafe have completely rethought the traditional laundromat making it a hot spot and a place you want to hang out while waiting for your laundry. Don’t worry if you don’t have any laundry though, this place is great for people who just want to eat good food. The yogurt and house made museli was my fav!
Pz Nordic, Gothersgade 153, 1123 København, Denmark
This underground pizza spot serves made to order individual sized pizza. We took ours to a nearby park and ate pizza under the sun.
Torvehallerne, Frederiksborggade 21, 1360 København K, Denmark
This market has over 50 stands and sells everything from gourmet chocolate to organic, locally grown vegetables. Great spot to grab picnic materials and head to the nearest park.
Holms Bager, Torvegade 50, 1400 København, Denmark
This is a great stop for a quick afternoon snack. So many tasty options!
Mexibar, Elmegade 27 2200 København N
Our airbnb host recommended this bar for it’s lively atmosphere and student friendly prices. Mexibar has shots, frozen drinks, Mexican beers and about nine signature cocktails. Try a White Lady, a Passion Splash or a classic Mojito.
