A California Picnic with Seeker Wines
Around the time my sister, Madison, and I decided to book this California road trip I began dreaming about a beach picnic. I imagined it would be warm but not too warm with a nice ocean breeze, Madison and I would buy snacks from a small local grocery shop and we would bring everything to the beach for an afternoon under the sun! (sounds pretty nice, right?)
We found the perfect spot to make this little dream a reality in Carmel! This beautiful beach is located in the picturesque town of Carmel-by-the-sea. Families walk their dogs, kids laugh together, golfers play the world famous Pebble Beach Golf Course and millionaires enjoy it all from their beautiful homes above the beach!
I personally think wine time can be any time of the day and what better way to enjoy the day than with a glass of wine in hand? (or if you're having a beach picnic a cute little recyclable cup!)
We were so excited to try an assortment of wine throughout this trip from The Seeker Wines! The Seeker Wines stands out to me as a company that, not only produces high quality wines that taste great, but also encourages adventure. #SeekAdventure #TheSeekerWines are the hashtags that brought me to The Seeker Wines on Instagram but also represent a message I can fully get behind. Seeking adventure in any and every aspect of your life is an idea that I love and what our California Road Trip was all about!
We were so happy to try a variety of wines from The Seeker Wines! Each one was unique and equally impressive so it's hard to pick just one but we can decide that our favorite wine for a beach picnic is the California Chardonnay. The light scents of citrus and flowers, with flavors of ripe pineapple and golden apple paired perfectly with our spicier dips and breads for lunch.
For a warm summer evening the Pinot Grigio was perfect! We loved the dry, crisp texture featuring apple, pear, and peach fruit with hints of white flowers and almonds.
And for some of the cooler evenings we had, sipping on The Seeker Wine's Red Blend was just what we needed! Aromas of ripe plum and blackberry with a touch of vanilla and chocolate were enjoyed late night poolside at our hotel in Carmel.
Something special that I also love about The Seeker Wines is that their wine bottles are made with lightweight glass, leading-edge water and energy conservation technology, and local sustainable printer materials.
